looking at your guys speed,I think my 09 is a little on the slow side, 28" 70lbs,411 grain arrow,256 to 258.but it shoots good/

From all the Mpro bows I've seen I'd have to be a little skeptical of the chrono's accuracy. 290 is about 30-40 fps faster than the norm.

how do you get a 30" draw out of the Cheetah? my friend wanted to buy my same bow but the draw only goes to 29" with a F7 module. is there a custom module to make that longer draw?

Possably, but I can tell you this. I put some Mini Mpro cams on my SlayR w/ 14" mag limbs, 6.75" BH and at 28.5" (actual) draw length 68 lbs. DW and 351 gr. arrow, my Pro crono showed 293 fps.

Back when I was shooting bench rest rifle I payed with cronographs all the time. They are fussy even with rifle bullets, but they really get fussy with arrows. I came to the conclusion that a single crony is always lieing to you but can be useful as a reference point to compare changes you are making.

id have to agree with bfisher, 290 is a little fast from what ive seen. i have a 09' moab, 28'' 65 pounds 356 grain arrow and im only getting 275.5 from a bow that is rated faster then last years (the 2008, 315-320 ibo was a martin missprint from what i have heard)

i have the 09 Bengal at 28.5" 70lb with 411gr axis carbons and it was consistent @ 274.4 (10) shots. I did notice that if you shot high or low through the chrono the speed varied by up to 10fps!! Something to think about there.

I have a '07 Cheetah, 70#, 29" DL, 410 gr ACC's and I get 272 fps. That is with a peep sight and a release loop.

that sounds a little fast for a cheetah, what do you all have on your bow? my dad has an 07 bengal with a 29 inch draw and 70 pounds and he shoots a heavy CX terminator 6075 arrow at 265 with just a peep loop and facotry string silencers...

As I mentioned in my previous post, I have a peep sight, a realease loop and the factory string scilencers. I tuned my bow by getting the cam lean out of the top idler wheel by adding twists to one of the the strings, and I also advanced the bottom cam by adding some twists to the cable. I think I picked up about 5 fps after tuning it. It shoots quieter also.
