i own a moab 09 istarted shoting it at about 60lbs and have been shooting for the last 3 months i just took it in to have it cranked up to 70lbs but i only got 65lbs max could thisbe becuase of string strech(i though they were pre streched strings)?

Measure the AtA and the BH of your bow.

If both are in specs your string is pretty okay. I do not think that you string has stretched this lot in 3 months.

thats the problem with factory installed strings sometimes you get one thats right to were you can get the peak wt. of your bow and sometimes you don't. my 09 moab was perfect. but i had an 08 moab and 08 bengal , i had to put custom strings on them to reach the peak wt of the bows.

I've never had a string to stretch enough to lose 5lbs. on draw weight. My Cougar has been 5 years on factory strings and still puts 72lbs on the scale maxed out.

I'm interested to know how you resolve the issue.

I got a new warthog in the spring in the middle of turkey season didnt get tuned in time to use on a gobbler but as I measured the a to a it is currently at 36.5 in instead of the spec of 35. time fo a new one even before the first white tail falls to its wrath
