Picked up an old Firecat at a estate sale for $20 this weekend. It looks to be in great shape with no cracks, nicks, or anything of that nature. I went ahead and bought it because the grip just fit me perfect, something I've not been able to find in a long, long time. Anyways, can anyone give me a little info about this bow? It looks to be a late 80's, maybe early 90's style bow to me.
The sticker on the bow is hardly visible. I can make out a peak weight of 55# (#55-70 maybe? I can't tell for sure if there is another number), draw length of 28" (which is perfect!), string length of 63" (although someone has added a 62" on there), let off of 65% I think, and a bow number of 4345 or 4375 (I can't tell for sure).
The cam has a stamp on it, I believe it says X8, but the teardrop is in the way and I really can't make out more than the X.
