I'm looking at buying a 45-60 lbs Bengal which I would set at at 28" draw. I'm curious if anyone with this model Bengal can advise how much, if any draw weight I can expect to lose with the limbs bottomed out? I set my bows up to shoot right at 60 lbs and need to know if with this model I need to go up to 55-70...

For the better part of the last 20 years I've used Reflex bows exclusively, which I buy with a 55-70 draw weight & with draw set to 28" usually bottom out right at 60 lbs...

Most Martin bows, with 60# Max limbs, bottom out at 62# to 63#

afaik some of the Hoyt bows do that also. At least the Elite-Series and the AM.

If you want to shoot the bow at 60# there should be no loss in peak weight if you are just changing the module from 29-30 down to 28". If any thing it would be very slight.

Check the bow with a scale before and after the change.
