Martin Bengal

I just got an older martin bengal and the sticker is no longer there. I don't know the year and i need new strings and cables. What would be the best way to go about doing this.

Take a pic of it and post it up. Make sure you have a good pic of the cams.

It might be enough if you can tell us the color of the cam if it is a 2007 or later model.

I am not sure if there was a Bengal before 2000 but if so you might post a picture.

Okay. You seem to have an older Bengal with Z-Cams. That means it was before 2001 which means i cannot help you. :P

Are you going to replace the strings your self? If so just take the old ones off and measure them. If not I'd just take it to a shop and have it done. There is not a lot of info out there for it, at least not on the net.

They look old as the bow, how will I adjust my measurements for string stretch. Thanks for all the help so far!

I'd just get them made to the stretched length, you can always twist them up. If you get them shorter and they end up too short there's no way to make them longer.

I would make them around 1/8" shorter than they are. Just as a start...
