View Full Version : cable guard trouble
i have recently bought a used bobcat and have been target shooting with it with no issues for the last 3 months. decided to tighten the limbs down and since doing that the plastic piece that slides between the cables and the cable guard has been popping off with every shot. any help would be greatly appreciated.

New Mystic. Cable guard came in a separate package. the white seperator comes off the end. Should this rod be seated all the way in the hole? seems about 1' SHORT? Could this be the wrong rod? If I set mine up for 29" draw it will not work.

In both cases it sounds like you need a longer rod. They do come in different lengths. And it doesn't necessarily have to be a Martin rod. Most all rods are 3/8" diameter these days. You may be able to get one at a local shop or a call to Martin might get you one.
