im starting to notice alot of fraying on the servings that land on the modules at full draw. my firecat is only about a month old and i was wondering if this is normal wear or should i be contacting someone about it.

that looks about normal. when did you wax them last?

i was told to wax the string material only and leave the servings alone. so to answer your question, ive never waxed the serving part of the cables/string. its the cable in the bottom of this huge (lol) picture. its much worse than the pict is showing.

its what i paid for, the box said 2009 and the dealer said its a 2010.

look at the sticker on the bottom limb of the bow -- first two digits of that number is the model year of the bow. if it begins in 09 then its a 2009 model, if it begins in 10 then its a 2010

my firecat is a 2009 and it has black modules on the cams

My 08 Bengal does the same thing.

yep, the number starts out 09. my "pro" told me it was a 2010 when i picked it up. guess thats what i get for not checking and having good faith in people:mad: i will be talking to him tomorrow...
