Nitrous A Cam Thin Wall

is it normal for the string channel to have such a thin wall as seen on the cam on the left?

No, it should be more like the one on the right. Looks like the machining got a little off center. Being as Nitrous cams are like gold I'd go ahead and shoot it so long as it doesn't damage the serving on the string.
