Hey all,
Heres the update on my frankencat. Its an 09 model with CAT2 cams. When I got it it was noisy and not as fast as i thout it should be and after further inspection it was found that it was totally out of ATA spec. I read up on AT about how to optimally tune these cams and getting them wrapped tight as well as finding the "sweet spot" and boy does it work!! The bow is now right on the specs and very quiet. This bow IBOs at 345fps but I am drawing 27.5@ 63# so the adjusted IBO is 305fps. here are the actual numbers that I acheived.
2009.5 FireCat
63# DW(maxed out)
27.5" DL
32 1/4" ATA
7" BH
Even Tiller
Stock Strings and Cables w/ 1 brass nock set center
On a ProChrony Digital
315gr 27.5" Easton Flatline 500@ 306fps
325gr 27.5" Easton Flatline 400@ 301fps
330gr 27.5" GT UL Entrada 400@ 300fps
362gr 27" GT Expedition Hunter 400@ 288
