Looking at putting a new code red on my 08 MOAB. Does anyone know if there are any particular problems mounting the RC on the MOAB? Does the Martin Ripcord lock mount make a big difference or would I really need it? I currently have a Whisker Buiscut. Thanks for the help.

Shouldnt be any problems. You dont have to have the lock mount but it sure is nice.
what function does the lock mount perform?

I'll chime in since I'm a Pro Staff for RipCord. :-)
the Loc Mount is certainly not necessary, just nice as it is a "cleaner" install and certainly more secure.
No issues w/ a RipCord to even the fastest bow on earth if you know how to tune it.
The "old" locmount will NOT work with the new Code Red.

So, the current Martin part number 29021 will not work with the new code red.
Is that correct?

I have had a ripcord and switched to a limb driver and never looked back.

Thank you for sharing.... I hear the limbdriver is a fine rest.
Does your limbdriver utilize a Martin Loc-Mount?
