New bow, new to sport...

My Son and I have been going to the local indoor range and shooting for a few weeks now...Bought him a Browning Micro Midas last weekend, I picked up an 09 Martin Moab for a great price last week! Really enjoying shooting it!

You will never regret introducing your son to the sport of archery. Teach a boy to hunt so you won't have to hunt the boy.

My son also started with the Browning Midas. He's now 12 and will inherit my Matthews Q2. I recently picked up a 08 Firecat Pro X and am loving it.

What kinds of speed are you realizing from your Moab? Nice bow. Great post.:cool:

I stated, we're beginners...I working on technique/aiming...I have the poundage backed off to around 50#. No idea of speed at this point.

No need to worry about your speed untill you learn your bow. Once that is done speed will come. Congrats on the new bows.
