Martin suggests using a 34.5 inch cable.

34.5" cable seems pretty long for a Cheeta.....

You are correct my mistake. I was thinking of my bengal which has a 34 inch cable and martin suggests using a 1/2 inch longer cable.

You're not looking hard enough. The CCS is item #CG-3 on page 2 of the on-line store listed under bow parts. Retail is $39.99

My question is " Does it fot the 2009 Cheetah?" Is the riser machined to accept it?

i'm just hoping it does a better job than the POS STS i ordered. that thing made my bow noisy and the cheetah is already noisy enough

If the bow is noisy then check every nut, bolt, and screw on the bow. Check any accessories carefully. These are the most common source of noise. If this doesn't help then play with the cam timing. Maybe the cam is over rotated, which can casue excess vibration. Try adding some twists to the string and/or reducing the amount of twists in the cable.

Something else. The CCS causes the cam to be over rotated as well. It increases the draw length by 1/2" and increases the draw weight by about
5#. The use of a cable 1/2" longer is recommended.

As you will find out there is more to this than just swapping some parts out and being happy. That's why I'm not a bow designer/engineer.

i had some noise problems when i first installed my sts as well, i had to move it off the string about 1/8" and rotate it so that it was closer to the cam. i also had to replace the set screw for the sts, during all the adjusting it stripped out a lil bit and wouldnt tighten down enough. after all that tho i can now shoot a deer at 5 yds and the 4 standing next to it wont react to the shot....veeerrrryyyy quiet:D

My sts works great I have a bone hunter which is modeled after the cheeta same bow very quiet only problem is the sts bar works loose and when it does I can hear the diffrence and feel it to. It's quiet enough I'm not using any silencers. I've been shooting about 3 hours each day though
