View Full Version : My Pantera arrived today...missing pieces

Yep...I'm pretty pissed.

It's missing 1 of the 2 screws for the draw modules and the piece that goes between the riser and arrow rest bracket.

I thought I could do without the bracket piece, but the Ripcord's allen bolt is too long and needs the spacer.

This sucks!

Call Martins customer service and let them send you the two screws. Check everything if there is something else missing, too.

Jon Rossi assembled my bow - according to the sticker - so I'm holding him responsible.

This is my first and likely my last Martin product.

Wow, Jon Rossi.. never heard his name before. I already thought that Martin has only one worker as all bows here are assambled by him.. :D

maybe Jon Rossi is an alias.

Frustrating I am sure, but call them and they will make it right.

I hear there is few people putting them togther, but i think they use his sticker. I had one bow with the main string upside down and on the other the cabels were upside down and crossed on the top. I heard they are realy behind and working on QC to insure less problems which I think is great.

Another issue is the draw length...

My draw is 30.5 - 31 (depending on loop size) and with the F7 module attached (longest included...and with only 1 screw) the draw length seems to be about 30".

Should another longer draw module be included?

That is right. F7 is the module for 31" draw.

Make sure that the string is in the right post (additional info in the manual) and that the drawstop is in the correct setup.

There appears to only be 1 option for the string loop.

The draw stop is at the back (longest position) of the cam.

The Cam has 2 Posts. One is '1' and one is '2'. Depending on the post the drawlenght might be .5" shorter. Have you measured the bow specs?

I have looked for numbered posts on the cams but can't find any.

The manual mentioned this as a possible option, but my cam appears to have only 1 ammo string post.

Could you please make a photo of your cam (both sides)?
