I have 2 arrow combinations I hunt with using the Firecat. Both have a total mass of 700 grain.

Easton ST Epic made up to 600gr with weight inserts and tipped with a 100 grain Magnus Stinger 4 Blade.

Easton ST Axis FMJ made up to 410gr and then tipped with a 290gr Nanook broadhead from Alaska Bowhunting.

Dang, you got quite a "portfolio" there. Especially the Haartebeeste is impressive. How long did that take you?

The Haartebeest stuck to a routine, 10 in the morning and 5 in afternoon at waterhole. Shot him the second afternoon. I have the storie on my blog at http://cavdm.wordpress.com/stories/

Thanks for comments.

Hi Colton,

I shoot a Firecat Pro-X (2009). On paper it looks to be similar to the 2010 TR2.

Nice, I hope one day to hunt over there, would like an Eland, Kudu, and a warthog. How big was the gemsbuck?

This is the latest addition to the Firecat bag. Been after a Black Wildebeest for for 2 years and finally got one. Still very happy with the Firecat!
