I just bought a martin firecat tr2 a week ago, it shoots great. But just recently I was shooting it and the cable is rubbing on the roller guard causing the cable to fray a little and grind on the roller guard. Can anybody tell me why this is happening?
Thanks,
Chip

I can only guess as i never had a Martin roller guard in my own hands. As your problem appears within all bows that utilize a roller guard - even the high priced Mathews bows i might have a suggestion.
A possible reason is that the rollers may have a cuff that will damage the cables. To prevent further fraying you can put a serving aroudn the cable. This should help you in this somewhat common problem.

Are the cables routed properly so they are on the right roller? Just a thought.
