I noticed on the new 2010 models, that Martin put a chamfer on the edge of the idler wheel. There were complaints that peoples strings were getting eaten up by the old style. This was a great idea and helped with the fraying of the string unless you are left handed, LIKE ME. Martins should have put the chamfer on both sides of the idler wheel. I managed to rectify the minor setback and put my own bevel on the other side of the idler wheel. All you righties out there, check your idler wheel and you will see what I am trying to explain. This is not a complaint, jut a statement so if there are any other lefties out there, you should do the same because your string will wear.

yes, you are probably correct. Hate to admit it, but I didn't even think about flipping the idler wheel around. I think that the bevel that I did is more rounded than that of the factory side. I like mine better, lol.
