I shoot 70lb at 29.5 draw 358 gr beman ICS hunter useually with 3inch overdraw

The Hog is a great bow, but you are unlikely to get 350 IBO. I'm getting around 290fps at 65#, 29" DL and 410gr arrow which takes my setup to IBO around the 325-330fps area. That's plenty fast enough for me!

with 3inch overdraw

An actual bolt on overdraw or the arrows cut 3" shorter than draw length?

I've always shot and overdraw from old school whightail hunters. cut arrows 2-3 in shorter giving lighter weight. The new bows are 3x faster now and you have to watch spines, back then didn't know anything about spine just trying to get flater shot. use a bolt on overdraw with hand protector was what I'm use to.probly don't need now days.

They are plenty fast. After some great advice from these guys, I got mine tuned in and got 278 fps with a 430 grain arrow (total wieght with broadhead) ....Dude, that ought to shoot through about anything.

Lots and lots of adjustment on the cams for drawlength, letoff, and pundage.

I love mine.

Correction .....287 fps....I was sellin myself short. Thats with a 30' draw and pulling around 70 (max) pounds with 430 grain pipe.
