View Full Version : 08 firecat ?

I have an 08 firecat that I aquired from a friend of mine and I just now noticed that the cams are in reverse order, meaning the aggressive cam in on the top and the 1/2 cam is on the bottom. I want to know if this will have any bearing on tuning this bow and shooting it correctly? Any help would be appreciated!

Possibility. Would like more info, right or left handed bow.

Browning used to do this with left handed bows, reverse right handed cams. I have a kid who shoots at the shop and his left handed Micro Midas is this way, right handed cams reversed.

Ok, a left handed bow with reversed right hand cams.

Ok, is that what it is? They have to use right hand cams and just reverse the order? Makes sense, thought there was something wrong. Thanks!

I'm a lefty and don't recall seeing that before but my prowler is a single cam. My old browning accelerator appears to have the same wheels on both ends of it.

With the MPro-Single cam there have been right hand and left hand cams. I think it is the same with the newer single cams.

if you buy a bow with the CAT-cam as a left hand bwo it is quite common to reverse the cams. As they are linked together and the cable tracks re the same there should be no difference at all.
