to all lets say older archers , how long dose it take to blow yer shoulder out . i have noticed that after 2 days of shooting i cant do a third ? IS IT TIME TO BACK OFF THE POUNDERS just a opinion would be great :eek:

Draw weight and the way it draws, force curve.

If you have pain in your shoulder, then I would say the DW is too high. Hard cams like hybrids can put more stress on your shoulder @ the same DW too.

That's why the M-Pro is good for shoulder complaints. I cant shoot over 66# with hybrids anymore due to stupidly using a 85# bow, but my shoulder tolerates 70.5# with the M-Pro's. :)

Well I started out with 90lb bow wore that one out then went to a 70lb bow wore that one out. Now I have a 60lb one and its all been down hill hope I don't
have to go to a 50lb bow lol.:D

thanks fer the replys guys , but it looks like i am stubborn as a rock in the head i guess till the day i cant pull this puppy back , im gonna do as is , really wanted to know if anyone else has gone thru this, and how long it took too wipe out there shoulder . a year 3 o r 4 ?:rolleyes:

Most of it is caused by too much draw weight. Other causes too though, can be from work, arthritis, etc.

How long to you have problems? Depends on a heap of things, helps not to draw heavy bows though. ;)
