I was looking at broadheads on my quest for a new one! I went to gander mountain just to see and guess what?
79.99 for rage 2 titanium BH! I think they have lost their noodle! 80 bucks?!!!!! Ill stick to the magnus broad heads. This time just got the stingers not buzz cut. I think maybe they will cut better. Same style I was useing just no seration.

The seration is supposed to help cut quicker, cleaner. Kind of like the proboscus of a mosquito, also serateted which lets her stick us without as much pain, also slips in easier. Heck of a comparision, but thats the idea. Cool, huh?

A little more than too steep for me. I'm going with the NAP Braxe fixed broadhead this year. Can buy directly from NAP. $29 and change for 3.

Never seen that type of design before. Great price, Cool looking. Defiantly have to have a well tuned bow to get them to fly right. ;)

Tuning? What tuning? Screwed it on and shot all the way out to 40 yards just like a field point.

I saw the Braxe broadhead. Beyond conventional, I wanted to try one so I called NAP. Because interest was low NAP is on the verge on doing away with the Braxe. Discussion took place and I found NAP had tested this hunter head to no end and it chopped through everything. Though possibly being discontinued I wanted to try them and I was sent some for testing. My bow is set to launch a 380 gr arrow at 270 fps.
When first picking up one of these Braxe broadheads I found they were super sharp. I mean it felt like the edge was cutting into my fingers. And then I notice the blades are offset to produce a core drill type hole.
First test, point of impact. I didn't change anything, no tuning whatsoever. Bam! Dead on with my field points at all yardages.
Second test, chopping through bone. No bones, but I had a bunch of 1/4" plywood pieces laying around. So I tried 3 spaced by 2X4s. The Braxe punched through all three and six inches deep into my target bale! After some 30 shots at my 3D target and I don't know how many times I got pass throughs and buried in dirt, I gave the plywood a second go. Again, complete passthrough. Look at shaft of arrow, about as straight through as straight can get. That single broadhead took abuse and no broken blades and no chips. I can either sharpen the blades or buy replacements blades. They will be on my hunting arrows this year. And that is saying something when I've taken 32 deer with NAP Shock Waves and no failures..
I ordered more.... I was priced $24.85 plus shipping, $4.95.
