What's a good string dampner to use for a saber bow using the allen set screws

to make your own, you can buy a 3/8 cable guide rod.(about 10 bucks) and idk what to use for the actual string catcher. i bet you could find something at an autoparts store though!! for about 5 bucks tops. ive heard the rubber end of an aluminum walking stick works....
