hey crew whats everyone's opinion for storing a bow , should the limbs be backed off or un stronge during off seasons:rolleyes:

It doesn't hurt to back off the limbs, but it is not necessary!:cool:

Not necessary but i think it is a good idea. Turn the limb bolts out around 5 to 10 turns out. Not so far that the daylight can be seen through the hole in the nut. This will remove some pressure from limb and strings.

I back em' all the way off.
New limbs lay flat. Limbs that are kept under full pre-load all year, are "rocking chairs" when I take them off.

Stored in a good location the limbs don't have to be backed off. Heck, I've got bows going on 11 years old and they've never been backed off.
