Here's the link to the tech info from the Martin web site, scroll down the page , you'll see 2010 and past info, if you know the riser model number you'll find your info, and if not, one or more of the Bengal owners will tell you want you need to know. :)

Look at the first two numbers in your serial number. The serial number can be found on the sticker that's on the bottom limb.
I'd guess that your bow is a 2007.

Ok, is there a draw stop on your cam? If there is, you have a 2008, if not, you have a 2007.

Yeah, you're right. I wasn't even thinking that it could be a different bow besides the Bengal.:o
Thanks for catching me on that one.

Well, after doing some research, the bow is definitely a 2008, but the riser doesn't match any 2007 or 2008 bow. It's closest to the MOAB, like 88notchback said, but it doesn't match that riser exactly.

Here's a picture of the 2008 MOAB, and you can see that there's a U shape at the bottom and top of the riser where the limbs are, so that alone makes it different. Also, there are no limb pockets on the 2008 MOAB.

Looking at the Martin website for 2008, the Bengal appears to have 2 different riser options, 1 in magnesium and the other in aluminum, maybe that is the difference in appearance.

Money Man, you are the man. I believe you are right. They would only show the aluminum ones on the site. This is probably the magnesium one. It certainly looks like the Bengal. Except a very few things. My vote is for the 2008 BENGAL!, MAGNESIUM RISER.

Hilighted in green is the riser material type The bengal and MOAB are only offered in machined aluminum not both. The Saber is the bow that use the cast magnisum riser that has been know to crack in half below the grip.
Check ATA measure Bengal is 32 MOAB is 33.

FireCat was only availible with the new for 2008 Cat Cam which was a duel hybrid cam system. the bow in question has th Mpro single cam.

Yes but if you look at the camo pattern on the limbs they are different than then riser. Thus thinking it is a piece together bow. Apg on the riser and next camo on the limbs. No green in the limbs.

Yes - I'd say older riser with up-dated limbs and stuff, new style rotocups, and the limb sticker is a 'replacement' one not an 'original factory' one.
(The Nuge has been shooting single camed Firecats for years...)
Didn't the '08's originally come with the square butt limbs? ?

Well, if the OP can give us some measurements, maybe we can solve the "Case of the Unidentifiable Martin Bow".:D

Welcome hhjh444hj, You are trying to identify this bow I take it. First measure the Axle to axle, and then Brace height and we will go from there.

Also it has a gold emblem which means it is a gold series bow. With a draw stop mpro cam it is late 07 or it is an 08.

The Best possibility is an 08 Moab, but the riser still doesn't match but the specs do. I would call martin and ask if they can identify the bow. Take good picks and they ask you to send them. It could be a pieced together bow.

That honestly looks like an '09 riser, but with the older camo pattern...Im just as confused as you guys...This isnt one of those bows that Martin makes for Dick's or Scheel's or something, is it?

To me it looks like a Martin Monster Buck Hunter. I believe.

Whatever it is, its a Martin.

2006 1/2 Bengal

Its a 'bitsa' Bengal. Looks like a 2006 riser (apg), 2008 limbs (nextg), could be m2pro cams (but should say on them). Could have been a warranted bow or a custom. :)

What is certain though is that it has the M-Pro cam with a draw stop, not the M2-Pro cam, which looks like the 2011 Accu-Trak cam.

the measurements dont ad up to a Bengal they are the same as the moab with a 90" and 34.25 string set the only bengal that had the same string size was 2009

Yep 2008 M-Pro, forgot about them.

Because its not a standard bow, the string and cable length ends up being what it needs to be.
