im looking for links,books,websits,anything to read to help me know more about bows.how to tune them.definations.tricks of the trade.anything at all.i would like to help others in my area who do the same as im doing right now.we take our bows to a shop,say make it as good as you can,then leave not knowing anything at all.i would like to change this seeing as how i am going to be spending a good amount of time behind one.my 2 year old daughter loves my bow,and i would like to be abel to teach her something besides driving to the nearest archery shop.thanks for your time. ....your neiborhood friendly gravedigger.

If you think you know about bows take a look at The Nuts and Bolts of Archery.
I down loaded the PDFs just for great ref and understanding. It was nice of him to lets do that. Well I am glad to pass of the info rock.

I found www.archeryreport.com which has reviews of all sorts of stuff and some interesting articles. There is also a manufacturers tab which list manufacturers by product (bow, arrow, rest, etc) and links you to the website if there is one available.

well thanks a bunch.this should be a great start.i plan on spending a some time on the martin tech forum.i will check out everythin yall have givin me to read,watch ect..i have not been so interested in something since i built me 88 4runner about 3 years ago.im done with that project now and its time for me to sharpn my brain on archery.thanks a lot to all of ya.and i dont have a computer i use my cell(it does not allway let me look at everything).i do have a computer at work and i use it every chance i get.

i will dowload all that i can.my wife came home with a new labtop yesterday and i will have internet on tuesday.till then i will be waiting,then its on.

might be able to find a good book at your local barnes/noble. I picked up one about 2 yrs ago (it's helped me on the "how to").

i will check it out.i have lived in forest grove for 7 or 8 years and on the way to work last week i noticed a small barns n nobil in my town.crazy what ya can find when a guy opens his eyes.lol
