View Full Version : Martin CS

Well still new to the Martin family so haven't needed it but it sure is getting slammed on the AT today. One reason I purchased a Martin was of good feedback on their CS so hope it's still as good as it used to be since seeing these limbs getting cracks in them lately.

Well you don't want to what my son and I think of some of the AT members. My bow is better than your bow mentality stinks in my book. I know more than you know stinks. I have seen the stupidity of some that have no understanding and think they do. Martin has great cs and will stand by their product. They did for me and a lot of others on this site. So put your worries to rest and shoot the arrows of the ones saying their better.

I'll second Hutch on that one :)

Ok Hutch you got me confused now, lol. I am still shooting what you and others helped me with and am quite happy with going from the PSE to the Martin Bengal. Concerned about all these cracked limbs showing up. As for the AT they are like one of the motorcycle forums I visit now and then and I take it all with a grain of salt and find most of it humorous. I kinda look at archery like my bike and that's shoot/ride what you want as long as you do it and enjoy it. If I wish to have a question answered without being bashed you can bet it will be on here. You guys on here have been great. Just been to darned cold to do anything up here for 2 weeks now and housebound doesn't work well with me.

Hey Brad, don't want you confused. What did I confuse you with?

Shooting the same GT's as I have from the start so that confused me a bit, lol.

Sorry Brad I still must be missing something.

Same here.:) Martin has outstanding CS, so don't worry .

Brad, I think Hutch is saying shoot the arrows of the guys talking crap. As in try ruin their arrows by Robin Hooding them with your supposedly inferior Martin product. :D

you have to take AT for what it is lots of bs but some great info very helpful as a learning tool....

i have a buddy that has shot martin for years had self induced problems he called martin they sent limbs and a string and cables even after he said it was his fault !

@ ML: Ah now I get it, lol. Guess I'll keep shooting the inferior brand of bow and arrows then cause I like the way they function for my hunting purposes. Thanks for enlightening me on the arrow part of his statement. That's what was confusing.

When I was looking for a new (to me) bow on AT I was only interested in one bow, a firecat pro-x. Took awhile before I found one but got one I liked. The thing was is that there were not many martins on there for sale, let alone what I was looking for. One thing I did and have noticed is that the bow for sale the most on there is the other M brand. Must be a reason for that. :D

Yeah, those other M guys are always trying a new one, always a ton of em for sale, wonder why, suppose that they did'nt get what they thought they paid for? :D

I'll give up my Shadowcat when they pry my cold dead hands......;)

My $300 Jaguar (when it was new) vs. a crispy $800+ Waffle? OH YEAH!!!:D:D
I'll eat the Waffle for breakfast!

The shop I worked for from the mid 90's untill 04 sold Martin and 2 of the other major brands plus a couple of smaller brands, Martins CS was the least used of any of the brands carried, and when it was needed, they were very prompt in getting things taken care of.

When I opened my own shop, Martin was the 1st manufactuer I signed on with, and after 3 years with them I have only needed there CS about 3 times and have never had more than a 1 week wait on parts, and thats shipping from one side of the country to the other.;)

I can guarantee you that most of the complaints you see on AT about the CS is related to the dealer or customer dropping the ball or not providing Martin with all the info needed to take care of things.

Hopefully I'll never need them but with this site and knowing how to get in touch with Joel I'm not really that worried anymore. I take most hings on the AT with a grain of salt.
