If you are a member of archery talk then get in touch with HuntingUSA. He has 2010 models and he is a great guy to deal with and also has great prices.

I've got a catalog. Anything in particular? I can give MSRP and MAP (Over the counter).

What is the difference between the two Barry. I always thought they were the same. How about using a TR2 since this is a 2010 thread?

From reading the warranty, it gives the impression that Martin will not validate a bow that is bought from unlicensed Martin Dealers, such as eBay. But please, correct me if I am wrong.

MAP = Minimum Advertised Price, This is the lowest price the manufacturer will allow a shop to advertise its product for.

MSRP = Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price, This is the price the manufacturer suggests selling the product for.

Most shops sell the bows at MAP. Some manufacturers will sell the bows themselves on their website, but they will normally be at MSRP, this is done to try to direct customers to their dealer network where they can normally buy at the lower MAP pricing, thus keeping their dealers in business.

TR2 MAP 599.99 / MSRP=649.99

Russ

TR1.....$500.00/ $450 (MSRP/MAP)

TR2.....$650/ $600

Pantera...$550/ $500

Of course these are prices as of last year. You might be able to find them marked down now that 2011 is here.

I hate to discourage you, but that might be a tough combination to find in a leftover bow, left-handed, 60# and black; unless a shop ordered one for a customer that didn't want it.

One suggestion I have is to watch the ebay auctions, especially KM Archery Hut, they are in WA and obviously have some sort of connection to Martin.

Thanks CaptJJ will give it a try. Black or titanium are my 1st and 2nd choices respectively hopefully not asking for too much. Might be a stupid question but can you get 2010 models direct from Martin
