Had my firecat 400 tuned this week by baldyhunter from archery talk his shop is 45min from my house and he does great work im shooting 285fps at 28 inch draw and 58lbs with a victory v-3 400 spine at 335 grains. Man this thing has a nice draw cycle and I love the grip.

Nice set up, nice looking, nice performance, and ya can't beat the price. Half the price of a waffle and a blowtech.

Very nice bow!!! I wish I'd gotten the full camo on one of my bows. Real cool looking.
Is that a QAD rest??? How do you like it?

yes its a qad hd and it works great. On a bow with the trg you have to use a spacer and a longer bolt to clear the trg. and hutch I put my bow aginst an invasion sunday and its 14fps slower at the same draw, same arrow, and draw weight, for 300 bucks less im more than happy with that. The draw is so much smoother than the invasion and having a torn tenden in my wrist I couldent shoot the invasion a lot without a lot of pain.

I too like the octane, but I found another stabilizer that is quite similar and nice as well. It is the Limbsaver Windjammer 7". real comparable to the Octane. I wanted to go with a black Octane on the new Silencer, but couldn't fine one and that is when I tried the Windjammer and liked it just as much.

Bone hunter

You mean the Invasion CPX was 14 fps slower than your FC400?

04-26-2011, 03:31 PM
no as much as I would like to say its slower its just not.But I would rather have my firecat because it is so smooth to draw.As I said I tore the tendon in my release hand right where the release goes so it allready hurts to draw a bow, but the hump on the invasion is to large at the same draw weight witch is why its faster.
