help with my recurve

have a damon howett hunter recurve..when it gets wet it gets dull and wont wipe off..worried about if water is going to get into the bow..love this bow its harvested a lot of deer..is any way to protect it...dont want to lbe retired,want to pass it on

No need to retire that bow! Sounds like the original finish has worn off and, therefor, I assume it's an older bow. While there is no quick and easy after-market fix for the problem, you can return it to us to have it completely refinished. Please give Customer Service a call (509-529-2554) to obtain Return Authorization and complete info. With a new finish, there is no reason you can't enjoy many more years of use out of your Hunter.
