Hawg, I use a JVC Everio S. Model GZ-MS120. Not the best in low light, but it's small, handy, and does a pretty good job. Sound kinda sucks on it though. It uses the SD cards, so it's easy to transfer to a computer. Pretty cheap cam, and well worth the price for me. Only thing I don't like about them is they have some chrome accents, so I had to break out the camo tape and start covering everything.
I'm not sure of the make or cost, but I know they make a camera that screws into your stabilizer mount that use an SD card.
How about one of those 'flip' cameras.
My sort of price range. ;)
check it out. just found it on the Martin online store(shopatron)
havent figured out how to post a link yet. lol
They also have video glasses!
The problem with the video glasses is that they shoot what your head is pointed at. That is very seldom what you are shooting at. I'd imagine that you'd be filming what was just to the right of your target all the time. That's if you are a righty. lol
The Flip UltraHD has a 'flip port' so you can plug in compatible microphones, etc, which will be handy. Its also has a battery pack where as the mino's is built in. No card slot for extra storage so 8gb will have to do.
