Measuring tiller
Attachment 4574
Here is a pic to help the newbie's or even the oldies.
Measuring tiller is important to see if you have the right tension on each limb.
Tiller measurement can vary up to 1/4" but 0 tiller is better performance.
Measure from the bottom of the limb where it meets the riser to the string in a straight line.
Note: limb adjustments will vary the nocking point and the peep sight.
Not being equal in tiller can also rob you of a strong even power stroke.

Checking idler lean
Attachment 4576
Here is a pic to help the newbie's or even the oldies.
Checking idler lean is important for correcting string tracking and limb twist.
Correcting idler lean is as simple as twisting the cable on the opposite side of the lean. A few twists at a time will help correct the lean. Keep checking until it is gone. In some cases you have to untwist the same side that has the lean to keep the bow in ATA.
