i see my bow came with either the cable rod, or the ccs....mine came with the cable rod. if i wanted to put the ccs on, am i gaining anything?

nope not really gaining anything. your cable rod guide works great!! if you did get a ccs you would also need longer cable, or back your bow down about two turns to maintain draw weight. a good sts type system, and a good stabilizer will help more than the ccs though
You can't put a CCS on your bow, the riser isn't cut for it.
Drill and tap some holes. :) isnt the rod in a bracket, that has thesame bolt pattern as the ccs?
Not possible. It is a C channel cut in the riser.

if your bow did take the ccs i would say do it.i did not have to get longer cables when i put the ccs on my bengal and i did not have to back out my limb bolts either.i did gain 3 lbs of DW but that is fine it has had no ill effect on my bow.my draw felt so much more smooth after i put my ccs on.i was juse a bit more ez to draw.
