My new Scepter V
well i pulled the trigger and got my grubby little hands on a new Scepter v. shiny black riser, carbon fiber pattern limbs, looks cool and quite a bit like my shadowcat.
not sure how i'm gonna like the quick release set up molded into the riser. since the riser is aluminum i have some concerns as to how it will hold up. also, the back stab mounting point is down low on the riser. it doesn't have a steel insert either so i'm wondering how it will hold up too. don't know how i'm gonna like that yet.
but, it shoots really good. quite a bit faster than the shadowcat, but that's not everything, is it. i'm getting 268-270 with fat boys weighing 303 grains, 48 pounds, 28.5 inches. i can be happy with that.
did my version of a french tune and had to move the rest way left cause the arrows were hitting way right. i'll figure it out though.
sure draws and shoots nice...
