Why use arrow wraps? I have only used arrow wraps when shooting FOBs so that I can find the Arrow. Recently have changed back to AAE Max Hunters as they suite me much better with Broad-head flight. Any input would be great. Thxs all.

1. Easier arrow locating and recovery.
2. Personalize- To make it stand out from other peoples arrows. Specially when your shooting with other people. It's your signature that marks the arrow shaft as your.
Because people on AT will tell you its the cool thing to do! Isn't that why so many people shooting HMBs?
By far 2 reasons
1. to protect the shafts in vane replacement
2. as mentioned above easy to replace vanes.

To anybody not familiar with arrow wraps. Please bend and twist the area that's covered by the wraps before you shoot just like any other arrow. The wraps can hide damage under the wrap. make sure you bend and more importantly twist the shaft and listen for a crackling sound. If it makes that sound, don't chance it, Fully break the arrow and dump it so you don't accidentally place it back in your quiver. Stay safe!.
Ya-all do know that Martin first came out with wraps dontcha.?...
Here is how I see it:
Pros
Adds needed weight to the nock-end of shaft
Can help some folks keep vanes on their arrows
Cons
Adds unneeded weight to the nock-end of shaft
Adds cost
Adds complication
All the rest is superfluous to me...
CK, Thanks all. I think I will try a set with some of those new Fusion Zeons by Norway. The new Fusion Zeons are close to AAX max hunters.
