ouch, I need to find the one where the guy was trying out a bow at one of them big box store and shot the arrow threw his hand with the arrow still in his hand
Since my wife and I are both shooting some light arrows (292gn) out of our 3-d setups, we both started wearing these: http://www.shootingedgetech.com/inde...id=5&Itemid=54
There is some graphic pics on their site also.
Ouch!.

I did that but I was lucky. It was not that the arrow was bad. I was in a tree stand and the deer I had been hunting for two years was broad side at 12 yards. Arrow fell off the Golden Key rest and was between the rest and riser. It was almost dark and my attention was not on the bow. It was real ugly, trashed the rest, scared the crap out of me, but not that ugly. Never saw that deer again till its picture was in the paper, and had been shot with a rifle a mile from where I was. We do need to pay attention. There have been some terrible crossbow accidents around here. One kid lost his hand.
That is pretty gnarly! That is why i constantly check my arrows! Any doubt and i take them oos!
