Congrats on the new bow best of luck with it
Congrats Brad! Can't wait to see the pics!
If not, you've waited this long for a new bow, whats a few more weeks? You're already working on new rigging for it, are'nt you? Should be ready to hunt by Sept 15 easy. What rest are you installing? Already know that you're going with a 5 pin sight, but am having a senior moment as to which one. What arrows you gonna use, same one you've been shooting out of the ole Jaguar? :D
Don't worry, I can wait. LOL :) As soon as Dad modifies the string jig I will make my new string and cables. The rest that is coming with it is a Trophy Taker dropaway(not sure exactly which model). The sight that is also coming with it is a 5 pin Extreme sight. As far as arrows are concerned, I'll try the ones I have, and if not I'll just have to get arrows. My Jaguar is now a backup bow.
AS, I'm not even sure of the model the rest is. lol It's like a TT Pronghorn, but has a small target type spade blade. I shot it several times with that rest installed before I sent it. Wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be a PITA for you. Not once did I have an arrow try to fall off or slide over. I also like the fact that the rest is set (was set) just low enough that it used the arrow shelf as a silencer pad. I had to take the rest and sight off to ship it. Just put the rest back on level with the cable rod, and put the mounting bolt in the middle mark on the riser mount. Should have it right back to near dead on for centershot.
