Kinetic Energy

Tried both calculators, I'm getting 300fps on one and 297 fps on the other, and between 78.8 and 80 ft/lbs. Not bad for a 6 year old 63# bow, now where you say them buff wandered off to? :D

When I had that bow cranked up to 70#, it said it was around 78 ft/lbs KE. with my set up. Now I shoot most everything around 65#. Easier draw, and still plenty of energy left over to stick the arrow in the ground. lol

Ok Ehunter when it asks for the weight on string are they asking for my accesories?

Yes, you add up the weight of the peep, string silencers, D loop, anything you have on the string, with the exception of speed nocks. A simple peep like a Fletcher or Meta Peep and D loop will weigh about 20 grains. I think most people on average have about 28-30 grains on their strings for a hunting set up.
