Thanks DoubleS, You know he's not the trophy buck, but I did pass one last year just like him and went without a shot and no harvest. The thrill of being outdoors and placing a shot were you wanted it for an effective harvest is just perfect for me.

That's the kind of tracking job I always liked to have. Makes ya wonder how these pros on TV can't even get complete pentration let alone a pass through, doesn't it? Nice job, Chip. Almost makes me want to start hunting again----almost.

Thank you dzsmith, he is legal in Ohio any deer with antlers over 3 inches is considered antlered any deer under 3 inches is antlerless. We have an either sex tags and an antlerless tags. You are allowed one antlered deer over 3 inches per season. In my zone you can take 3 deer with an either sex tag and 3 deer with an antlerless tag for a total of 6 deer one being antlered over 3 inches.

Hi dzsmith, I can't help being curious, but I was wondering what the restrictions for a legal buck in Florida are? I would think an eight point would be legal in most states. Not trying to be confrontational, just curious.
