Awesome pick! Best thing is that with the fury cams he can grow into it. Good shooting guys!
Thank you all for the help. The bow and accessories should arrive around the 14th. I'll be sure to post pics once we have her up and running. The shop is supposed to set it to 24 1/2 inches and 45 pounds for now. Were gonna work on form and accuracy and when he feels comfortable, I'll give the bow a little more poundage. We'll see if he can work up to 50 pounds and still hit where he needs to with accuracy. He's bee shooting my 50 pound Recurve a lot with fingers. I know he's short stroking the recurve but it's still a lot of weight to hold and shoot.
Now I need to find a really good Youth hunting release. I have one on Ebay I'm bidding on.
Before ya know it he will be out shooting Dad!
But believe me that's a good thing!

woohoo... new toys....
Congratz on the purchase... do update us on the performance....
Tell Gabe he's got great taste. I had to have the Bengal the minute I saw it. Tru Fire makes a nice junior release, I got one for my boy...it's still a bit big for him but usable...should have plenty of working range for Gabe.
Now that's a bow!! I'm sure your son will like shooting that one.

Thanks fellas. I have a Scott archery Little Bitty Goose youth I'm bidding on right now. I'm winning by .50 cents. lol.
Anybody have any experience with 30.06 releases?. I see a few youth models on Ebay.
The Bow showed up early!. Woot woot!.
I inspected the bow for any damage...None. Then went ahead and checked to make sure every bolt, allen head was tight. I had the Shop I bought it from in Wisconsin set it 24.5 DL at 45 pounds. I couldn't resist not shooting it. I have to make sure it safe for my son to shoot so I grabbed a couple arrows and headed out into the snow. Mid you that the bows DL and DW was way off for me but wow!. I shot about 6 shots at 10 yards, I was banging arrows. The shop did a great job with setting up the bow. it came with a Black Gold 3 pin sight, TrophyTaker Pronghorn rest and a little stabilizer. I added a matching Sling that I already had too. The bow is smooth..I haven't shot a single cam in awhile. I also bought my son a new Scott Archery Hero release. i had to try that too to make sure it was safe. lol
