Firecat Strings

I'm glad this site is here , there is so much information. Thanks Martin....

I'm going to be replacing the strings on my 09 firecat next month . Does anyone have any advice as to what brand/type ? :confused:

There are loads of aftermarket string makers. Most of them are really good.

Those are just the ones that come to my mind at first:

Bucknasty
Inferno
VaporTrail
WinnersChoice
H&M


All of them make good strings. Which one you will try is just a thing of personal reference.

I just got back into archery this last year. Im not up on all these zebra strings and what knots...

It's all in what you want, I have used WC, H&M,Vapor Trail, and Pro-line, all are good string builders:D H&M are local for me..so I try and support them.:)
Next would be WC they have been around a long time.

The last guy I used was, http://www.mikes-archery.com/index.html, no problems at all...

Trust me. You don't want Zebra strings. Almost anything but them. Used one of the ones these guys have posted. Prostrings is another good one.

I like Bucknasty, but for the money I'd like to try H&M.

What length string and cable do I need ? The sticker on the bow just shows the draw length and the poundage. 09 Firecat cat 2 cams :cool:

39" cables.

I just received my set from H&M Bowstrings today. They are flawless!! and the price can not be beat for the quality. shooting string and cables in 452X for $45.00, cam in two weeks.
