Depends on material. Like Bcy 8125, water really will reek havoc with it. And they say trophy not much effects it. So when it comes down to it keeping it waxed and in a dry place is very important.Quote:

Interesting. I'll keep my string waxed!
So if you get caught out in the rain what are the post hunt procedures?
Use usually I would wipe the bow down and and wax the string then take a piece of leather or leather string and burnish it in (MELT IT IN).

1st part of your post is your answer.. as for being caught in it..heck we head out in it or befor it gets here . my bow has been in so much water it needed a snorkle.. keep it waxed up aply with leather as hutch said. I will pluck strings to get excess water of and dry off bow best one can. air compreser or caned air helps to dry bow off to.. dont blow air directly into string.:eek:Quote:
