Did you say once that you had assembled a 13" limb NOS cammed Slayer? If so what were the specs like on that.

Hmm...
Sounds interesting. Although i preferred the 14" limbs over the 13" limbs all the time...
Martin gave it the same specs as the 14" limbs, but that is obviously impossible!
Going to 13" limbs, will shorten your DL range by exactly 1".
You can shoot the bow with the ATA at the same specs of the 14" limbed Slayer, and if you do, the brace height will also be exactly 1" shorter.
I don't feel that gives the 13" limbs enough pre-load, so I would reduce the string and cable lengths by 1", which will shorten the ATA to 36.75".
The cable length is 38.25". The string length for C cams is 57.25". If you have B cams, the cable length is the same, but the string is only 51.75".
B cams, will give you a brace height around 5.5", and a max DL of 27".
Here's a thread on AT I posted in about the Slayer. http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1372944
good info once again... courtesy of copterdoc :D
Copterdoc,
Whats the draw range on the 13" limbs and C nitrous? You say it will shorten the draw length by 1 ", so 30 " then ? Slayer riser, of course.
What would be the draw length range with 13" limbs, B ntirous, at the 37.75" A2A ?
It would be exactly the same. The only other thing that would change, is the brace height.
Thanks for the info. I found a Cat cammed slayer on AT for 150 and couldn't stand it. I also have a set of NOS-X C cams laying around so if I don't like it with Cats I will have another option.
What is your DL?
