old firecat
i have an old fire cat that i would like to start shooting again. im worried about the ends of the steel coated cable the part of that is cracked is the sleve that goes up the cable a bit not the, for lack of better term, arrow head shaped part. is it still safe to shoot? can i get replacement parts?

They are called tear drop cables some shops still have them and they are still sold.
Here is a link.http://www.eders.com/products/martin...-pr-steel.html Make sure you check your thickness of the cable. I think these 5/64" for 80" length 70lb bow. This site has both the smaller cable and this one the bigger.
