Hey Ehunter,
That's really good information.....looks like a call to Barnsdale is on the "to do" list. Could you tell me what the velocity numbers look like with Barnsdales? I know that when I...

Hey Ehunter,
That's really good information.....looks like a call to Barnsdale is on the "to do" list. Could you tell me what the velocity numbers look like with Barnsdales? I know that when I...
Hi Wscywabbit,
Thank you for your reply. I had my limbs replaced with the Powertough limbs, too, but have the older and original Cat cams still on the bow. Should those have been replaced, too? ...
Hey Guys,
I've been away for quite a while.....about a year or so, I think. Anyway, when I was last here and posting pretty regularly, we had a discussion going on about the Warthog, a bow that I...
Hey NuttyNative,
I'm a little late in getting back to this thread....probably too late. However, I'd second the opinion that you should give the WartHog a shot. Ever since I had the solid limbs on...
Hey DZ,
If the Warthog is set up properly for IBO testing, it can very well make the listed IBO speed.....according to the guys at the factory. Mine is not that fast, but then my arrows are...
Hey RJD,
I own a 2010 Warthog and have already swapped the limbs for the newer 2011 solids. So far, has been one of my most accurate bows. The lower brace height doesn't seem to be a detriment,...
Hey coolsam,
Is there a reason that you never use punctuation and do use unique ways to spell words? I'm trying to read your posts, and man is it difficult. Guess the guys on here have a lot more...
A confirmed corporate committment to improved Quality Control.....a statement that the market can get it's teeth into. Also, resurection of the Warthog super speed bow and a return to the laminated...
I'd like to see the return of the beautifully simple but elegant riser of the 2010 Warthog but with limbs that will truly be dependable and deliver the promised speed. This along with hardware that...
Hey gravediggermtv,
You've brought up a good point, perhaps without meaning to. We run many, many thousands of arrows through our bows, often with little to no maintenance. Occasionally, a plastic...
Good Morning Hutch,
My meaning was that Martin is a fine bow, period. The fact that they sell them for a fair price doesn't diminish their quality. Wish that they'd re-introduce a good, durable...
Hey Guys and Gals,
I attended a very informal "shoot" near my home this week-end that had a pretty good attendance. Shooting was out of doors at bales with targets, and of course, there was every...
All I have left is an '08 Bengal, an '09 Warthog and a very old Bear First Strike XLR that still shoots lights out.
Hey Gibson 787,
Thanks for the reply, brother. I know what you mean about the accuracy....kind of been my experience, too. What kind of speed did you loose when switching to the solid core limbs? ...
Thanks for the feedback, guys. Guess you're right.....not too many Warthogs out there. Oh well........
So far, no replies to this querry.....isn't there anyone else who has any experience with a Warthog that has been retrofitted with the new, solid core limbs? My shooting with my newly fitted Warthog...
Hey Guys,
Been a while since I've posted anything, but any of you Warthog owners out there have updates on the Warthog with the new solid core limbs? I purchased my Warthog about a year and a half...
My first real bow was a Bear Alaskan with a bulky, but (in my opinion back then) absolutely beautiful laminated wood riser. Man, that bow took a tremendous amount of rookie mistakes but kept on...
Hey Guys,
I probably missed it, but does anyone know what the differences are between last years Cat Cam 2 and the new cams this year? Is it simply a matter of changing the name or were the Cat...
I'd be concerned about cracked limbs with cams that aggressive. If you don't mind the risk, sounds like fun though. Let us know how it works out!
I'm waiting to see how they perform.....should know for sure within the next two to three months. I DO know that my focus is going to be far more oriented towards rock solid dependability and not...
Got me too....to those of us who have blown multiple limbs, that one was more scary than funny.
Guess I'll throw my .02 cents in.....
I purchased both a Bengal and Warthog last year. Bengals been perfect, but the Warthog has had two limb changes. On the last change, I took it to a local...
RDMWC,
Yes, they did....the new cups that come up over the edges of the limb. That would probably have eliminated the elongated holes in your limbs to begin with.
Best of luck with your bow...
Hey Hawgenvy,
I wasn't looking to give my Warthog away....it's just that after having limbs fail twice before finding a fix, I don't necessaryly trust the bow to take on a long, expensive hunt. ...
