Do you have a map view (overhead) of the property? I'd bet that you could find some solid places to put up a stand or location to place a blind. Cedars are known to be prime rubbing trees in my area.

The rotation on the cam is normal when adjusting with the pegs. There is a diagram floating around here somewhere that shows that.

When I changed jobs last year and got a vacation payout check, I bought another bow. My wife for whatever reason took that as a personal attack since she had bought me one for xmas the previous year....

I would do what you have to do to keep the bow in spec while maintaining the draw weight you are looking to achieve. Going an ince and a quarter beyond spec wouldn't be acceptable for me. jmo.
