I don't know which models those guys were talking about exactly, but I know for a fact that for example Bowtech Invasion CPX(L) is sensitive to the angle of the cams. They need to be slightly tilted...
Thing is, some bows actually are sensitive to cam lean, while others (such as these Martins) are not, according to my experience. It is a mystery I would like to understand better. Take Hoyt CRX or...
After only two months of ownership, my Revolution rest (attached to my Nemesis 2012) broke. I was shooting outdoors, temperature was just below freezing. I liked the rest, but naturally lost...
I used epoxy, so the grip would actually be hard to remove in case of second thoughts. The wooden side plates (made of curly birch) are much simpler than in a genuine Thermal Elite Grip, which I...
I made a more or less similar grip to my old 2003 Phantom II myself:

A rubber grip? That's a bad idea, since it induces torque. It is better to have a slippery grip that adjusts itself straigth on your hand "automatically".
Looks GOOD.
I also noticed the string stop, I suppose that model wasn't factory installed. And the Saunders Hyperglide, of course.
I also recommend putting some extra tension to the cord with QAD rest. So that the marks do not align but they show some extra tension (1/16" or so). This improves reliability.
Then again, if the bow is new, it shouldn't be your problem. It's a hunting bow where such noise cannot be tolerated => warranty issue!
I started with an "aggressive" tool, a metal file. I didn't just "barely touch the corners" but I really filed the edges round close to the seam of the transition from the cam to the module. During...
I eliminated such sound from my old Martin Phantom II by putting lithium grease to the limb pocket (unfortunately, you need to disassemble the bow to do that. Some people have had succes with gun oil...
Same here :) I bought mine on December (I already had an Onza 3 at that time). I wanted to get one while it was still available. I initially had a Whisker Biscuit in it, but I just equipped the bow...
My 2011 Martin Onza 3 and 2012 Rytera Alien Nemesis on the wall of my hunting cabin.

I suppose the bow has string silencers readily installed? If not, I recommend installing silencers such as Bowjax Slijax close to cams where the serving ends. They make a big difference without...
Good decision. I have Onza 3 which is technically the same bow. I had a Hoyt CRX before and I like the Onza 3 much better, mainly because of the much nicer cam behaviour.
There is one thing,...
My Martin Phantom II / 2003 has perfectly rounded module edges on both sides. So back then, it was possible  Then again, these rotating modules are different, but does it explain it all,...
One reason why I wanted to experiment with different cable slides was minimizing torque. The original cable slide had excessive vane clearance, therefore it induces torque in vain - not that I would...
It's the cable slide!
I have been experimenting with different models to find one with minimal friction, to ensure reliable operation of my QAD Ultrarest HD arrow rest (that's another long story)....
After some more thinking, I'd say this cannot be the reason. Considering the force sideways, the decreased tension of the cables due stretching would pretty much equal just backing the limb bolts...
Thanks for replies everyone! :)
It is indeed 1/4" longer now than initially. Feels very good still and my bow arm is not overly straight. Don't think so.
If there was some fault in my...
Good point, but I don't believe that theory. I have never noticed that a "too stiff" arrow would make any difference with compound bow (it's a different thing with traditional bow, of course, since...
That wouldn't make a difference anyway, since sight movement doesn't affect paper test or boradhead tuning. It was the arrow rest I had to adjust - and of course, also my sight after that.
No.
Not sure if I understood the question...
Could do that, but I would like to understand what really causes the difference with the arrow rest and if my reasoning above was any good.
Brace height is unchanged (with my measurement accuracy,...
Compared to my initial Onza 3 tuning almost a year ago (shooting "bullet holes" to paper and broadheads hitting the same spot with field tips), the biggest drift has been with the need to move my...
