I recommend H&M Bowstrings(www.hmbowstrings.com) He does great work and he is the least expensive of the quality string makers. I had a set made for a Firecat and they were flawless.

"I feel the need, the need for speed". Fantastic
mudpig,
that is exactly where I thought you should have been. Thats more like it, an IBO weight arrow in that bow will be doing 325 or better. Could you run one through the crono and let us...
copterdoc, whats the adjusted IBO on that creation going to be? will it be any faster than the original single cam? draw smoother or is the end result just going to be a coola** bow?
pure marketing, they add mag to the limb decal
im suprised that it hasnt derailed the cables
barry,
When I did it on my Firecat I gained a few fps but mainly it reduced the noticable hump at the end of the draw cycle making it a little more pleasant to shoot.

NO WAY, high risk of a miss, and even more it is an unethical shot as there is more of a chance that you would inflict a non lethal wound.
When I started hunting with a bow at 12 or 13 I shot a 45# bear recurve. My dad made my arrows, big heavy cedar shafts with 5 in stripped feathers and glue on Bear razorheads, man they looked like a...
My daddy always taught me "broadside son, any other shot is too risky. Shoot them where they're biggest. Behind the shoulder 8 inches up."

Welcome to the forum, tell us your specs, equipment, and post a pic or two
I too am at the stage for a new target. Black Hole is garbage. I like the size but as much as I shoot(200 arrows a day or so) it didnt last. Dicks had the morrell combo pack on sale. 1 broadhead foam...
Theme of the day seems to be the variables that affect arrow performance. So I pose this question:
I have two different arrows cut exact length and weight same nock, shaft,fletchings(2" blazers) and...
Hey all,
Was looking at these because of this thread.

Understood, I am greedy. I want fast and accurate. I dont have those long arms, I am pushing it for 28" to be comfortable. Is it too much to ask for a hunting weight arrow be launched at over 300fps?
I love my AX and the Z would be a great addition but... I cant understand why they made it longer and a shorter bh but did not get more speed out of it. The warthog was 35" ATA and 6" BH and was IBO...
Hey all,
We can all agree that spine does matter for both safety and performance but does arrow straightness really matter that much. Most of the major manufacturers produce .006,.003, and...
