Bow is on its way, I couldn't see the crack as well today as I could yesterday while shooting. Hard to tell but it kinda runs down inside of the fork as well. Thanks for everything though.
Jake
You guys are the best Joel!
Alrighty everyone, I posted a while back, in March to be exact. But I had bought a 2004 SlayR, I thought I had noticed a small hairline crack/splinter on top limbfork, but the bow shot fine so I...
Thanks guys, there may or may not have been a few more beers lol.
Had to break this up into two seperate posts but anyways, continued..
4.)I used some wet cloth and wiped down the entire bow to rid it of dust, dirt, oil, whatever else may have been on it...
First, I wanna give a big shout out and thanks to HawgEnvy for giving me the help I needed to do this project...
The SlayR I bought was a little dinged, scratched, in better terms-put through its...
Hawg, I have some questions! Please clean your mailbox!:D
Hey everyone, I need some help or a step by step on how to paint my riser. The thing is, I don't wanna do the whole the risers, just some places where the paint has worn off.
I have a camo risers...
Also take a cotton swab and go over the limbs with it. If there are any cracks or splinters the cotton will catch on it.
Well upon further inspection, it turns out all is well. It must have been a slight fold in the paint dip. Shot the bow about 100 times and still pounding the bullseye.
Joel, I also noticed on the...
Joel, would those limbs they have advertised work for my '04 or would have I to go and call and see if barnsdale can make me a set of customs.
I will look around for some cougar III's as well.

I see they make the replacement limbs for Martin. However I don't think these limbs are 1.5" across, I may have to ask if they can custom make them. I suppose no one would happen to have a bow they...
Well at the moment, its just specualtion. I had to work a night shift tonight so it cut into my process of examining and shooting it further, but its right in the limb fork. I hope its just a slight...
Hey all, just picked up a 2004 SlayR a few days ago. I've been shooting it but noticed a slight creak towards the top limb, when I looked at it, I think I may have found a slight splinter. Martin has...
I guess I shoulda said my arrow length will be either 27 or 28 inches long. I would go heavier, but I need a decent mixture of speed and weight, because I do take long shots, I'm not scared to shoot...
Ok guys, just got back to being a Martin guy...again. Haha this time for good. I just got done with my Strother shindig. Anyhoo, just picked myself up an Alien X with the Tranz Cam (accutrak). I was...
it is due to the extra weight on the right side of the bow, even a few ounces on one side of the bow will cause it to tip, the best way to adjust for it, is to have correct grip and draw length...
If only i had the cash, if only :(
I dont think so. I believe the 1.5 would be putting out more energy and operating at a higher efficency with it set on the longer draw length for the cam, rather than a larger cam set to a smaller...
What is the actual axle to axle of the 2012 Pantera? On one website I saw 32", on Martin's spec sheets i saw 31"? I thought it was 34?
Not a huge fan of the shorter bows, 34-37" is about perfect for my liking. I haven't had a solocam in a while, last one was an '07 C4 Cougar with the original Mpro cam. Super smooth not really a barn...
The specs seem great to me, especially for hunting. However I dont have the opportunity to get a feel for the Fury XT cam...Any Input on this bow/cam system? Im looking for smooth, but would like to...
Feathers all the way baby...you can beat them up, pull them apart, clean them after they passthrough a deer...anything
I bet an arrow with 2 feathers could fly as well as an arrow with 3 full...
you can pretty much make the draw cycle how you want it...About half and half thought it was smooth or "harsh"...play around with the draw length modules and the let off peg...I think youll find that...
