Thanks that's what I thought. I'm not too concerned with my bow, cause I mess around with cable and string lengths all the time just to see how it affects performance. However for others that are...

I can't imagine why they would have different limbs per bow model, that would be just a nightmare to try and keep track of. Truth be told there are just part bins in the factory and they all come...
the only rational thing to do to to resolve this is to bolt a bow to a shooting machine and shoot a dozen .006 arrows out of it at say a distance of 50 yards
Then do the same thing with the .001...
I could be wrong but I don’t think that the Shadow cat came in a 39” Axle to Axle length?
It was my understanding that even in 2010 the final production models were in the 41” neighborhood right?
...
I was wondering why not take one of the old style set of limbs and sand the outside off at the base enough to fit inside the current standard Martin Limb pockets. I understand that they are an inch...
Hi guys I had already tried 3 different rests none of them had any affect.
OK I switched the bottom limb to the top just in case there was a discrepancy in the limbs.
- apparently there...
As stated above the cams are completely in sync they are perfect. on this bow with the Cat Cams it's not as critical but they are perfect.
this is my experience too
I have tested with a Stan back tension release and it shoots bullet holes with the nock high as shown in the photo. This is the darndest thing I have ever seen?
The new cams did not come marked...
I did a search and didn't see any other posts on this.
I have 3 Shadow Cats and they all exhibit the same behavior. To get acceptable arrow flight The nock point is .5 to .635 inches above square....
When I was shooting the X-system on a Scepter I had the larger Axle on the bottom and then I put a shorter Axle on the top. This kept the cables from actually touching each other. You gained about 5...
I use the Bio-Mach 2
it has three main parts the tab, Middle and ring finger. :-)
Best part is if I forget the tab part the other 2 still function in a pinch (so to speak)
I'm the one who had this problem. I posted it about 8 or 12 months ago. I think your mods and draw stop do need to be set correctly. However I think Martin just didn't test their cams at the longer...
It's my understanding that they do all sorts of temporary things you wouldn't do to a stock bow like put a string on it that has half the number of strands on it, exotic lubrication you name it.
Yes I'm thinking your issue is vane contact let us know the results of your test.
Also don't forget you can twist your arrow nock to alter vane alignment
good to know thanks!
ya pretty sure these are the original string\cables even though I'm not the original owner. They are definitely not for the longer version.
I got the cable guard on order direct from Martin off their website!
Sounds good I already have a call into Martin on another issue I'll talk with them about the riser exchange.
and the Cable guard I'll buy one of those for sure. Nearest Martin dealer is over 35...
yup I would say the rubber tube was sucking up a bunch of the vibration. add some string silencers and that should take care of it.
Can you tell us what you've done already?
What are the length and direction of the paper tares you are getting?
What rest are you using? Have you confirmed that you are not getting any vane...
As requested here are the cams at rest. I've looked at the photos online and from my other shadow cat they look like they are in the proper rotation.
Thanks for the feedback guys
As requested I will post picture of the bow at rest.
This is the shorter 39" ATA version. Actually I was a little disappointed that it wasn't the longer version. I...
Dido on evrything Jason said
With a couple of additions that maybe obvious but Ill mention it anyways. Changing your draw weight may affect the arrows flight and tuning of the bow. Of course your...
the cams are not out of time the pictures were just shot at different points in the draw Cycle.
