Why not just get a good after market set of string and cables??? The factory strings that come on the gold series bows are terrible. Lots of good quality string makers out there.
I am currently shooting H&M strings. Great strings so far. No complaints.. Very good value. Only problem is he is so good and has so many orders, turn around is several weeks.
try a little lok-tite on the set screw and it should keep it from coming loose.
Make sure the string is about a credit card width from the STS. Also, the bow always sounds louder when you are the one shooting it. Have someone else shoot it and you stand back or vice versa.
09 Bengal 65 lbs, 29 inch draw, 392 grain arrow, d-loop and peep, 270 ft/s.
Shot placement is the key. I would look ar your kinetic energy more than speed. There are calculators and graphs out there that will suggest what kinetic energy you should have to hunt specific big...
If Sagittarius has the original 34 inch cable on his bengal and he has upgraded to the CCS I seriously doubt he would be able to back the bolts off far enough to get slack the string and cable to...
I have a friend who decided to get into archery. First thing he did was become a fanboy and let marketing decide which bow he bought. He bought a Mathews and spent close to a 1000 on the set up. ...
Glad it didn't hurt your limbs.
Same thing happened to me and my 09 bengal as far as draw weight goes. Add twitsts to the cable to get it to peak at 70 lbs. Also, check all your specs such as A2A and BH.
I shot a lot of bows before buying my 09 Bengal last month. I kept looking for a reason to spend the extra money on hoyt, pse, mathews,or bowtech and couldn't find a reason. Glad I found Martin. ...
Can you post pic? How much close is the string to the STS?
I hunted with a 37 inch ATA bow for several years. I practiced shooting it from a treestand. It was never a problem for me.
I must say I have had very good luck with them returning emails and phone calls. There customer service along with their outstanding products is why I bought a Martin.

Frustrating I am sure, but call them and they will make it right.
Is the idler wheel leaning to one side?
Maybe the 010 Cheetah is different than the 09 Bengal that they told me to get a 1/2 longer cable. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
According to Martin for proper cam rotation and to keep the Draw weight the same you need a 1/2 inch longer cable. Some have kept the 34 inch cable and had no problems; others have reported it...
fairly certain you will need to press the bow in order to remove the string and cable and route them through the CCS.
I have only shot the Bengal, but I love it. Shoots great
Check out this website and it will answer your question. For every inch of drawlength you go down you will lose apprx ten fps.

My bow sounds loud when I SHOOT IT. However, if someone else shoots my bow it sounds very quiet. The folks I shoot with comment on how quiet it is, but when I shoot it for whatever reason it sounds...
