You'll get no argument from me on Hutch's strings, they're well made and excellent value, but I think you should take a bit of the credit - that's nice shootin mate!

Great to hear!
OK, but we've been camraless for a while, so I'd better find it.....but I won't suggest that my wife joins the search - she might look behind the sofa!
A while back I ordered a set of strings from Hutch & Son for a 'frankenbow' I was putting together. It was an 09 Moab which I wanted to convert into a 2010 Firecat TR 2 with the new Power Tough...
Whman my friend, that was my wife her sofa.....ssshhh! she might hear you. Seriously not sure about the limb construction but I think they are solid right through. As for speed, Destroyer was right,...
Yeah, there's something about the ol Hog. ATA not too long and not too short, kind of like a Goldylocks type of bow, and for me it holds as close to perfect as a bow can get. Remember when I offered...
Your experience is a carbon copy of mine with my 2009 Warthog. The new solid limbs seem to have done the trick, although I too have noticed a small loss in speed.. The bow is shooting extremely well...
Were you able to find out what the correct draw weight is of your bow?
Good to hear the news, and the new solid core ones at that. Should make you feel more comfortable. :)
boobow when i'm not shooting with fingers, i use both the winn C 10 and winn hook release. i have no problems with paper tuning. I would suggest maybe getting a check on the draw weight of your bow,...
In my limited experience with paint I found aluminium to be the most difficult surface to paint.
Incredible pic Hutch, just can't figure out how being hit by a train could throw a deer that high! I wonder if it was hit by a cherry picker truck and then hoisteded up there for a joke?
You...
He's a good man, the Spiker.
I'll organise a pic tonight mate.
Powdercoat is the way to go. I powdercoated a Warthog black with camo limbs. looks mean. Bead blasting and the coating cost under $50.
Hey hawg, I'd send ya some tomorrow, but I doubt it would get past your customs, mightn't smell the best after 10 days on the road either, even if i do send it frozen!!!
.
Welcome Looseplucker (have to be careful how i pronounce that one!) Yes it is a good forum and a nice bunch of blokes who know what they're talking about as well. Good to see another aussie...
Congrats! they're are a fine shooting bow. I recently converted an 09 Moab into one.
Bloodoath on that one Wick!
Yeah, spare a thought for the poor farmer too, down here in kanga land, we're still cleaning up from the worst floods in living memory. I think ol mother earth's trying to tell us something.
I can't think of a better reason not to change a thing. I found cable/string wear with a TRG only occurs if there are too few twists in the string/cable. Keeping them well waxed, but not to a point...
Probably should keep my big mouth shut on this one, but IMHO whether you have a TRG, cable slide or CCS, the performance of your bow will be more influenced by the manner in which it is tuned,...
I couldn't say for sure if they all did, but mine certainly has a wooden 2 sided grip.
It's definitely a Lynx, and I believe they was also sold with cams.
Yep, and i guess i'd be showwing it more if I told you i still shoot it with fingers and no sights! LOL
$99 !!!! I remember paying over $600. still got the receipt somewhere. I'll bet they flew off the shelves.
